The basic concept of the system is simple but extremely effective. A rubber former is inserted precisely in position through the entire length of the chimney. It is inflated to the correct diameter required to enable efficient combustion.

Thermocrete B2c material is pumped from the top of the chimney stack filling all voids, cracks and damaged joints. When the Thermocrete has hardened, the former is deflated and removed leaving a perfectly smooth cylindrical flue similar to a rifle barrel.

Thermocrete B2c is a unique patented refractory chimney lining fabric, produced and tested to BS:4207 conforming to BSEN:1443.

Thermocrete chimney linings are committed to a programme of continued expansion and development and in the interests of progress, we retain the right to alter the above specification at any time. To this end only specifications, which, have been certified as true and correct, can be used to determine conformity of Thermocrete B2 to this specification.
